Ready for Spoon Bits?

Post by mredmond »

I'm fine with moving ahead with it. How much more would it be, Brad?

I emailed all those that have not paid so far (according to the first post). I have heard back from one. He doesn't visit the site regularly and did not know we were waiting on him. He emailed me back to say he would remedy his tardiness in short order.

I haven't heard back from the other two, but it has only been a few hours.

Maybe there is still hope for full participation.

Along those same lines, I would opt to take another diameter bit in addition to what I've ordered. Perhaps we would have enough people interested in adding another bit or two to keep the cost per bit the same for the rest of the group?

Good news!

I talked to Brad on the phone, and he said he needed one more. Just an hour ago "one more" contacted me and said he would contact Brad ASAP. (He too was unaware he was holding things up.)

Obviously Brad needs to make the official proclamation, but I think we're there!

Ha! I was *just* coming to check in here and see if there had been any progress, since we sent the money 2 months ago. Take a whip to these sluggards, I say! They're holding up the train, and some of us need these things to make grocery money with.

Trever, if you would quit complaining, and just buy me a set (I'll PM you my address), then everyone could go about their lives.
If you're too cheap for that, I guess everyone will have to suffer.
:D
(Seriously though, I've crunched the numbers in my bank account a million different ways to try to get in on this deal. I'd love to get in and get it rolling, just aint going to happen)

OK Everyone,

Sam A has joined us, so that is our 25th! I have sent emails to both Teevee and scheyschey telling them the train is leaving the station... I will give them until Monday to respond, and then we move forward...... also, it was suggested to me that I should offer the chance to buy both the 11/16ths and the 7/8ths..... Tyler has taken advantage of that option, and if any others of you are interested let me know and send an extra $105 to my paypal address...
