I thought it would be fun to show a then and now pipe for the guys just starting out. Persistence can pay off. This first pipe is my fifth pipe made back in 2008:

It's not perfect but I'd say it's a little better than pipe number 5.

hell, pipe number five don't look to bad either. im in the 30's now and im barely making things that surpass it.

Okay, I'll play :D I didn't even remember this pipe until I started looking through pictures from about this time two years ago. This one is either number 4 or 5...not sure.

Mine is worse than yours. I've got to get home and find it. I buried it somewhere in a nook in a closet somewhere so I don't have to have the painful reminder.

for me the change is not so dramatic but this is my first briar from earlier this year and one i finished up right after halloween.
