Congratulations Mr. Hinkle!
On making the GKCPC 2015 Club Pipe! Can't wait to see them in person.
Am I Calamity Jane or Annie Oakley??...depends on the day.

Thanks Scottie! I see that you hold a little power with the club. Dan emailed me the next day to iron some details out. I hope you and daisy didn't rough him up too much. I am very excited to do the pipe. I think it will be a great learning experience for me, as well as a pretty good value to the members. The pipes will be the first thing I work on when the new shop is open, which is the absolute best way I can think of to start the new year. Thank you to the other well wishers also!

My condolences, I mean uh, congratulations!
Every time I entertain the idea of a club pipe I cringe at the thought of making so many of the exact same pipe. Rad might be able to do it at the drop of a hat, but I know I'd struggle. That says a lot about your progressing skill level, Joe. I know you'll knock it outta the park!

How many pipes go to a club pipe? Since I make only about 30-40 pipes per year, I'd have a hard time if someone asked me.

Jesse
You know nate expressed nearly the same sentiment. It is just going to be an assembly line approach. Do the same step all the way across and move on to thw next step. It would drive you crazy to make a pipe start to finish that many times, as well as difficult to make the exactly the same.

Jeremiah I capped the club at 25 pipes which is pretty low from what I understand. Im taking a few weeks off work to knock them out 12 hours a day.
