Every so often there is a post about buffing tools. I have purchased the Beall Wood Buff system from Beall tools http://www.bealltool.com/woodbuff.htm and have found it to be an excellent set for pipe work. The buffs are larger than are the one's from PIMO, and, IMHO, work more efficiently because of their size.
I think I just figured out what to do with that Baldor motor I picked up off of eBay.
Only problem is, I like to buff at about 1200 RPM, so I think I need to get a reduction gear setup. Either that, or adjust my technique to use 1725 RPM....
I use the three on a lathe mandrel system. I don't have to change them out plus since I use it on my Jet with the dial speed adjustment I can control the speed. It's a great system.
It's important to note that the three on one, which looks like a great system, uses different buff mounts than the individual buffs that come with the original system. If you buy the three on one, buy the buffs that are fitted with it.
