How you got into pipe making: I've always been the arts/craft type. I've made furniture, painted, sketched, and played instruments as long as I've been alive. Met an older gentleman who was a pipe smoker and after looking at his gorgeous collection thought, "I can do that." Well, "that" took me a long time. Been making pipes 4 years now.
Other interesting facts: I've got a M.A. in political science and am married to a wonderful woman. I make pipes full time now for Premal Chheda at Smokers' Haven in Columbus, OH.
