Where do you guys get your bands from? I see a lot of bands on pipes that are not carried by the major pipe making suppliers

I see a lot of bands on pipes on Instagram that are either not carried by the pipe maker suppliers or they just don't have them listed on there sites

Repair bands are always plain. Decorative bands can be anything, but must be made by a jeweler or someone with jewelry-making skills and tools. You won't find the latter loose and for sale unless they were salvaged.

I think a lot of the stuff off Instagram (that is being referred to above) are actually cheap jewelry (I don't mean this negatively) that the maker is using as a band. It's really just a ring they found that was the right size.

As in, a ring originally made for a human finger, not a pipe.

I'd imagine yard sales and flea markets are your best bet, OP.
