I have a ceramic pipe that the bowl has a section busted out. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix it?

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in here man... I don't know what we are looking at. Never seen a hollow-walled clay before, looks like some kind of insert bowl thingy... just strange to my eyes.

If that is indeed a hollow wall clay (which I am pretty sure it is) then it's buggered. Sorry.

IT IS A HOLLOW CERAMIC PORCELAIN FROM HOLLAND. THE ONLY WAY I CAN THINK TO FIX IT IS TO FILL IT WITH AN EPOXY LIKE MILLIPUT OR CHALK DUST AND EGG WHITES.

Chip out what's left .Hand press low heat clay and fire. Will work .You will have a clay pipe.

That is a dead pipe i'm afraid.

Experiment to your heart's content by all means, but don't expect to be successful.

Unfortunately the majority of these pipes were souvenir quality and wouldn't stand up to real use. The best way to fix that is chuck it in the trash and find a clay meant to be smoked. LePeltier makes double wall clays meant for use and aren't terribly expensive.

Ryan's right. That pipe broke because someone tried to smoke it.

Not worth messing with.

MrBrog in poland had a "Chamotte" series, which are double walled clay pipes. I've heard good things about them, allthough they too tend to break after a few years of heavy use.
