Alright here's a little asymmetrical sitter with an angled stem with spalted maple. I was going for more of a Japanese sort of aesthetic on this one with the angles and asymmetry

Well now... quite a nice one, I think.

The bowl/shank junction could be a bit more refined, but I'll leave describing that to the guys who know how to overlay colored lines on photos.

Also, the line of the shank along its bottom third breaks a little---flattens out---as it approaches the stem. Those long curves are a gold-plated bitch, aren't they?

The stem work itself looks excellent. Be careful that the top and bottom edges of the button aren't too sharp, though. It might also be too tall in the center. (Both of those things can make a stem quite uncomfortable)

Will, you're gettin' better with every pipe. Excellent job! :D

Thanks a lot I'll check out what you mentioned about the stem that should be an easy enough fix if it is to tall or sharp. And yes this long curves are tough but that french wheel that I made helped out so much. Thanks for the feed back
