Hello guys!
I recently did a pipe trade with John (JMG here on the forum), and this is the pipe i made for him.
It's the first volcano i've made - a tricky shape i must say!
I really like the result, and i just wanted to share it with all of you.
Things i know i can improve on:
- Transition from bowl to shank, especially the bottom lines
- Getting an even blast from top to bottom
- Getting a more straight and beautiful slot

If you have any comments or critique, i'd love to hear it.
Have a great weekend!

The only thing I see that needs work is the transition from the shank into the bottom of the bowl. It's not particularly wrong, just imprecise. I've seen a few volcanos that transitioned by having some kind of lip to offset the shank more from the bottom panel of the bowl. It's not particularly wrong to just fade them in, it just isn't as creative as I think the shape requires. Other than that, the pipe looks very nice.

Not a big volcano fan but you did a good job on this one. The only thing I really see is that the stem could be thinned out a good bit.
