Hi Folks,
I remember awhile back a discussion on epoxy and there was mentioned an epoxy that was used to glue portions of golf club heads. It was super strong and clear.
I made a search here and no luck .
Does anyone remember this and does anyone have info on this product?
All help is much appreciated.
Thanx,
-Steve
Epoxy: Glof club heads
Golfsmith used to sell a golf club assembly epoxy. Haven't gotten a catalog from them in years, but I'd guess you can google them. I tried a bunch of different things back when I was making bamboo fly rods and trying to get ferrules to stay on, and the best epoxy I found was Brownell's Acraglas Gel. It's the stuff in the green package, not the red package. Everyone will have a favorite, I just know this stuff has held up for years in many ferrules, which must be one of the most punishing joints anywhere.
The golf club stuff is Conap - excellent epoxy, though I don't have a current source for it.
Happy Smoking,
