Mountain Briar

Post by Mountain Briar »

Real name: Mark Young
Age: 56
Location: Coloprado Springs, CO
Years a pipe smoker: 41, with a 20 year break in the middle
How you got into pipe making: I'm spending too much money buying them, figured I'd better learn how to make them!

Other interesting facts: Former glass blower, canoe and kayak builder, model airplane designer.

welcome, and realise that making pipes WILL end up costing more than buying them :P

If I hadn't started making pipes, I could've bought at least 10 high end pipes by now!

Welcome! And Massis is right. I'm sure I could have bought a few dozen high grade pipes with the money I've spent on my shop. And now I don't have much time to actually make pipes for myself, so it's all sorts of fun, but if you want pipes, buy pipes, don't make them.
