Can somebody tell me a good place to order stains from??? :thumb:

Apparently I'm using the wrong stains.
Making pipes s like Unix administration - there are 142 different methods for arriving at the exact same result. And none of them are wrong.
Matt, to add to the above, I recommend you try several different types and brands of stains to see which ones work best for you and give you the finish you want.

To respond to Kurt's mention of UNIX administration. I no longer stain my pipes myself...I have written a nice little shell script to do it for me. 8O

So, do I want to use the leather stains on that site or the leather dyes, or what???

I use the Fieblings as well. What is nice is that the color is consistant as it is already pre mixed. I use Lt. Brown, Med. Brown, Dark Brown, and Buckskin the most.
