Here's a J.Alan military mount kit I bought from Vermont last year did a couple test runs with it.

Why are you selling this?
I found mine most useful as a learning tool, but found the 3/8” tenon to be too big for most of my needs and the sliver of wood inside a bit delicate, so basically cut a new bit on a 5/16” base and Delrin pilot to give myself some extra wood inside the brass ring.
After writing this, I can see why you might sell it.
