How you got into pipe making: I wanted to be able to smoke a pipe I made myself, and decided to give it a try
Other interesting facts: I made my first pipe from a kit. I felt like that was cheating and vowed to never again use a kit.
I've made 8 pipes since I started in August. I'm hoping to learn how to make quality pipes.

This is the place where you can learn those skills. The folks here are generous with their knowledge and skills. Do a search first to satisfy you questions.
I will admit that it is very satisfying to smoke your own pipes.
It also satisfying to have another knowledgeable pipe smoker like your pipes.
