How you got into pipe making: I was, for a long time, an ardent pipe collector, and I naturally ended up with pipes needing repairs so I dove into learning how this is done, and the bug hit me in wanting to make my own. I have yet to finish making one and am in the process of modifying a 4 jaw chuck for holding briar blocks.


Other interesting facts: I have been a custom knifemaker/ blacksmith since 1987,first as a hobby, and for the last 10 full time. I love to hunt and fish, and my spare time hobby is rebuilding old Mauser rifles into fine sporting weapons.
