I have some, tried a few times never got on with them, prefer a hand brush.

What are you hoping to accomplish with said brush?

I run a brass scrubby brush thingy in my drill press, it's an evil fucker, but it sure makes a nice texture after rustication with tools.

I have problems getting an even shine on sandblast and Rusticated after applying shellac. I Think I have read in this forum that a soft nylon non abbrasive wheel would do the trick? Of course after the shellac is dry! And yes my shellac is cut

Won't help, brushes are only for wax.

There's other finishes which work well too - oils tend to give that uniform "not too shiny" look, and there's at least one water-borne urethane that works very well too.

I use a natural bristle brush (possibly flax or some such plant) for the final buff on table tops, gun stocks, and other other stuff I finish with my paste wax mix. It gives a nice, uniform, satin sheen to the finish. I have not tried it on pipes, but count it among the experiments I'll do in the near future.

Sandblasts are a bastard to get an even shine on. The secret, in my eye, is not how to wax/polish an even shine on. Most I know off just do a coat of shellac and leave it.

I use a Dremel and a nylon brush (I think is this one, number #403) and it works wonderfully.

Ebay has 100's of nylon wheel brushes and the cup style similar to the wire cup brushes.
