Years a pipe smoker: somewhere between 1 and 3 years. I smoked a pipe in the 90's, put it down, and as of around June of 2019 picked it back up.
How you got into pipe making: I like working with my hands, needed another hobby, (like I need another hole in my head) and wanted some pipes that are out of my price range if I pay for someone else's work. I'm here to find out what I'm doing wrong, and what I'm doing right. In short I want honest criticisms, but I like to know when something is good as well.
Other interesting facts:
I am an accountant professionally. I am a firearms enthusiast, my current love affair is with muzzle loading arms.
I have to date only two pipes carved, one surprisingly enough (my second) is sold...
