Finally, after four tries...

Post by BDP »

Say Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, but I'm getting back in the swing of things. I've been really working hard learning more by making more pipes, learning to use my camera, and making lots of mistakes! Ha!
Anyway, here's the one I've been looking for- and now sold...The grain was mirrored on the other side. More pics if anyone's interested, let me know.

Hope to see some of you in Richmond!,

Wow, Brad. What a beautiful piece. It looks as if it was well worth the wait!

Best,

Hey stranger,
I can see why it's sold already--beautiful piece of work. Hope you have a great show. Take some pics for us folks who aren't going.

I saw that pipe in C-Bus. Man what a stunning thing that was. Terrific job buddy.

Brad, I had the pleasure of sitting next to your pipes all day in Columbus. Excellent work. The pictures do *not* do them justice. I need to figure out how to get one of them in my collection. :)

fourth try

Post by BDP »

Aaawwww Shucks,

You guys are too kind.
Jeff- are you back from DR yet?
Dave- I'll definitely take some pics for you.
Ben- there were four others- two more sold, two left.
John- See, a degree in plumbing helps!
Kurt- In all humbleness, I have to agree with you. I did two different sessions with my camera photographing that pipe. The second session did come out better than the first, but something just wasn't the same as the real thing. The "soul" was missing, maybe. BTW, congrats on a successful show to both you and John! You guys outsold Jody and Todd!

Got two more coming up to staining right now. I'll post when I complete them.

You guys are the best, :thumb:

You're killing me! LOL :D

Now I have to amend my remarks; "The "great ones" have either a background in art, architecture or plumbing"

WOW Brad!

That is a gorgeous pipe! Just awesome!

I think I need to learn a little something about plumbing! 8O
