Cavity in the tobacco chamber. What to do?

Post by Odissey »

Good morning!
In the process of drilling the tobacco chamber of this pipe

Image

there was a briar defect on the wall of the tobacco chamber. A cavity with dimensions of approximately 4 x 7 mm and a depth of another 1.5 x 2 mm into the wall of the tobacco chamber. Is there any way to save this pipe, or is it only suitable for burning in a furnace.? Maybe charcoal, maple syrup and water.? Some inner feeling tells me that this pipe cannot be saved.

What do you think about this.

I can’t sell - that’s understandable.
I will leave it as a model for the manufacture of future tubes.

Thank!
