Name that finishing technique

Hello everyone
How would I acheive a finish like this?

It's complicated.

And then still MORE complicated. :lol:

If you are starting-from-a-dead-stop new, I wouldn't worry about finishing yet.

Job #1 should be learning your tools well enough to be able to copy an existing "pattern pipe." Think of it like learning to play the piano: starting out by playing songs others have written. Writing your own music comes later.

It's the fastest path to mastery. The shortest line that connects the dots.
