Pipe blueprints or schematics?

Hello everyone,
This is my first post and I'll try not to ask the same questions that many other have already asked.
I have been carving for many years now and have decided to make the jump to carving pipes. I have found many answers to my questions already, but I was curious if anyone was able to post some sort of blueprint or schematic of a pipe in general.
I'm mainly interested in bowl diameters as well as the diameter of the hole leading from the bowl to the stem. I have found a couple videos that have answered most of my questions as far as stems and mouthpieces go.
Also, I was curious if anyone could give me some insight on possible advantages - disadvanteges as to what materials are better for stems and mouthpieces. I would like to carve the entire thing out of wood, but I have not heard of any pros or cons as far as that is concerned.
Many thanks to anyone who can help.
Travis
