Here's the latest thing I've acquired for when I'm back in business with a workshop again:

4 large blocks of Olive Wood straight from Israel. Given to my mom on a trip there a few weeks ago, by a shop on the Mount of Olives (how appropriate). Not sure whether I'll make a pipe or two or save it all for inlays/extensions... or both! :D

Very cool Ben. The pipe I am currently working on has an olive wood extension. I really like working with it, good stuff.

Olive wood, when finished, creates beautiful pieces.

Can't wait to see what you make.
