Anyone have decent plateaux blocks in the $10-15 per block range they are looking to sell? I am looking for about a dozen blocks if I can find a good source.

Thanks!

Try Michale Parks. he has some excelent briar for around that price range I think.

Parks requires a 15-block minimum quantity purchase. When I do my math, that's way too pricey for me, at this point.. 15x15=225.. ouch..

They have two kinds, spanish and algerian. I don't know where the spanish stuff is from, but I think it's Jaume Hom's. I do know that the algerian stuff is from Yazid. It's very good briar, and is the only stuff I ever use.

Of course, now that Andrea grabbed a honking huge pile of it, Yazid has next to nothing. I bought the last of his stock, and I have to wait until he's got the next batch dried to get any more.

I just ordered 4 blocks of Algerian from there. Should be here by Monday.

I've been trying out a bunch of different sources to find something I really like.

Hi Guys!

Yes I have 2 kinds of Briar in stock right now. I have Spainish and Algerian. Our Algerian briar as most of you have heard, is really good stuff. I am currently out of stock on the Tassili but I have the Cirta in stcok. These are good looking blocks with Beautilful grain, most of the blocks are pretty good size. These measurments are approximate.

Ebauchon Small- 2 5/8" x 1 3/4" x 4" - $9.00
Ebauchon Large- 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 4 1/2" - $12.00
Cirta Small- 2 3/8" x 2" x 4" - $15.00 (Plateaux)
Cirta Medium- 2 1/2" x 2 " x 4" - $17.00 (Plateaux)
Cirta Large- 2 3/4"x 2 1/8" x 4" - $19.00 (Plateaux)

Check it out for yourself! I don't think you will be disappointed, plus you can save 10% by placing a $100 or more order.

If you have any questions please let me know.
