Two Draft Holes

Post by JMB »

Has anyone else seen a Pipe with two draft holes. When I first started smoking a Pipe my Wife bought me $10.00 "basket" pipe. It is smaller than most pipes. Only marking is Well with Real Brair under that and Italy on the Shank. Has a metal ring (no markings) with a P Lip type of stem. One of the best smokers I have but never seen one like it before.

The only pipe that I've seen with two draft holes in the stem comes from Radice (but I'm no expert on all the pipes being made!).

Just as a wild guess, I'd say that it might be a Radice second.

Are you tlking in tyhe stem? Or two wholes going into the bowl? I'd often wondered about creating a pipe with two draught holes going into the bowl.

There are two "holes" going into the Tobacco Chamber or Bowl. I would think you would need a steady hand to do it. I have ask around but no one has ever seen one like it.

I will try getting a Digital Pic of the inside of the bowl. Don't know if I'm that good or even if can be done. But will try and if it comes out good I will post it.
Like I said it is one of my best smokers. Someday I will try making one but still waiting on my 1st Kit to come in. So it be a while before I try anything like that.

Nick I got two good pic's. I down inside the Bowl and 1 down inside the shank.
I can't figure out how to post them on the site yet, still trying. If you would like I can send them in e-mail. Just send your e mail address & I will shoot them out to you. My e mail address is on this site under my post.
Anyone else want a pic, just let me know.
