Double-bowl pipes

Hi, all,

Has anyone here successfully made (or owned) a double-bowled pipe that could be successfully smoked?

How would such a thing look? Do you have any pics of previous works? Would the chambers be side by side or front and back?

I saw a really cool double bowled pipe in P&T a while back by Jorgen Larsen. The stem had a little ring on it which if you turned would open one or another or both draft holes. That would be cool! Otherwsie you'd have to smoke both bowls at the same time.
