Kaywoodie Replacement Stem

Post by piepenhoeker »

Does anybody know where I can get a replacement stem with the logo on it ?
I do not know much about Kaywoodie´s.

Is it worth it to replace a original stem - or even any stem with no logo?
Or shall I auction the bowl with no stem on ebay?
Thanks in advance,

Rolf, I have a pipe man that can replace the stem and use the existing stem logo. The problem is that the pipe with the replacement stem will probably not sale for the cost of the stem and shipping. Having collected Kaywoodie pipes for 20+ years, this is just my 2 cents.

Thanks, Robert.
In the meantime I had the stem on my grinding disk:

Thickness of the logo is about 1mm.
The drill for the logo was a bit deeper.
I have several more bowls with no stems.
Somewhen I will replace stems on them in my workshop
and gift them to poor pipesters in Cuxhaven.
