Pipe stamp source?

Hi All,

I've done a search for this, without any results. I'm ready to purchase a stamp for my pipes, but, have no idea where to go.

Where did you get your stamp? Was it custom or off the shelf? How much did it cost for either custom or off the shelf?

Thanks,

--Michael

Some pipe makers have Paul make their stamps. I had one recently made. It's designed to cut into the briar. You roll the stamp onto the wood. He charges in the range of $140 for a custom stamp.

Do a google search for "custom steel logo stamps". You'll get loads of hits to choose from.

This one cost me $120, 3/16" high: Image

I forget where I bought it.

Paul is the best in the business and a true gentleman.
If you can draw it, he can turn it into a steel stamp.
Ask his advise as well, he has been making stamps for pipe makers for years. What may look good to you may be too busy on a shank. Paul is good for this type of advise.
