Source for Boxwood?

I'm looking for a good source for boxwood. I'm also a bit confused by the current varities being offered. I'd love some of the that milky smooth yellow boxwood I see on many high grade pipes. I've had some very much like it in the past that we used in the piano trade as bridge cap material. I think it was from Thailand or Laos. I bought a two foot log of it once. Sure wish I had some of that now!

Anyway, any insites on a good source, and the best varieties to look for would be most appreaciated.

A buddy of mine bought some at a local woodcraft store. If you have one local I would try there.

Hi Scott,

I bought a bunch from this guy in England. Maybe it will help you.

Hey Tano,

Thanx for posting the link.
Are you happy w/this wood?
I see you must order a pretty good size piece.
May I ask how much you bought and what the final costs were?
Oh, and how long it took to get it?

Many thanx,

Steve,

I found this guy on e-bay and bought 6-7 pieces for about $65. then of course shipping on top of that. I was lucky that the diameter ranged from 2 " to maybe 3 1/2. I really don't know if the larger diameter is preffered.
For the amount that pipemaker like me uses, I've got enough to last me a lifetime.
