Trever Talbert feature in summer issue of P&T magazine

Post by munkey »

I picked up a copy of the summer issue of P&T at my local b&m. The cover photo was taken in Trever's shop and there is an article featuring the Talberts, their shop, and Morta.

Congrats, Trever, on the deserved coverage you received. You proved to be a good subject for an interesting article.

Regards,
-Scott

I'll be watching my mailbox for that issue to arrive. What ever happened to the days when subscribers received a magazine before it hit the newsstands? That used to be an incentive to subscribe. Oh well, I guess I'm just getting old and cranky. :x

I got my issue a few days ago and read that article last night. It's a great article, though somewhat short in my opinion. I would have been happy reading it if it was 5 times longer!

As it is, it's a wonderful article that skims through the major steps in Trever's pipemaking career. It was a joy to read, and it even helped instill a sense of "get it done!" in me. After reading the article, I went out to the workshop and started working with a renewed vigor.

After reading this post yesterday, I was shocked to have the issue in my mailbox that evening. I am generally way behind recieving such things.

Congrats to Trever and Emily! It was a very nice article, though I too would have preferred about 20 more pages. :)

I found the article really interesting. What a step for some one to take to have the courage to buy a business in another country and relocate your family. Great article and great spirit.

Mine finally arrived yesterday afternoon. I'll have to admit it was worth the wait! Excellent article on Trever & Emily.

Trever, I just browsed around on your site (again) and was wondering: Would you be terribly upset if someone stole your "best of the year" idea?

Pretty please... :)

Of course not! After all, "imitation is..." and all that.
