Hi All,
I'm new to the forum, so forgive me if I'm asking a question that's already been answered somewhere. I did a quick search but didn't find any results.
My question is this: I picked up a bench grinder for $10 at a yard sale. Luckily it works, so no worries there. Since I'm probably only ever going to use one side of the grinder, I was thinking/hoping that there might be some sort of attachment available to attach to the grinder spindle and turn it into a belt sander that I could use for working on stems and such. It seems like it should be relatively easily done. There are tons of pre-made machines that have a grinder on one side and a belt sander on the other, so I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any issues. Problem is, I can't seem to find an attachment like that anywhere. Does such a thing exist? And if it does, anybody know where I can pick one up?
Converting a bench grinder into a belt sander?

You want a MultiTool:

I use one for everything from metal to wood, and back again.
