Machinist's Vise

Post by Frank »

I bought this vise (non-swivelling version) awhile ago, probably from Enco. I think mine cost around $50, but I was really impressed with the quality for the price. Solid, heavy, no discernible play and smooth cam action locking. Enco seems to have discontinued it, since I can't seem to find it on their site anymore.

Most decent machinist's vises start at over $100, so for the quality this isn't bad at all. Perhaps if you bookmark it & wait for a sale, you might get it even cheaper.
