Hey Ben,

I would be interested in knowing how things went. I am trying to decide who I am going to buy my next order of briar from. My first two pipes and my third, which I am getting ready to start, were all made with PIMO briar. How much did you order?

I can't say that I recommend the packages from Hom, having bought three to date. The good blocks are quite good, but the packages clearly are meant to move some marginal blocks by mixing them with a really good one and a couple of okay ones. Considering that you get pictures of what you're buying there's nothing wrong with that, except for the price, which winds up being kind of high for what you get. I've had better luck buying blocks sight unseen from Janzen-Pfeifen.
