Facing bit source

Post by TRS »

Can anyone recommend a good source for face/end milling or forstner bits for facing stems and shanks? Thanks!

I think Google's a good place to start.

Freud precision ground forstner bits do a decent job and they're available at your typical home improvement center hell.

Woodcraft has fine forstner bits made by Famag. They have a smooth outer cutting edge and leave a clean face.
