Hi all,
I have a question about what abrasive material to use in my small cabinet.
I have been advised locally to use a product call Aluminium Oxide.
Are there any other suggestions regarding this subject?

There are so many variables in blasting that it's nearly impossible to answer the question and actually be helpful. If you're using a fairly large aperture, (anything around or greater than .1875) and high pressure (90-110 PSI) then AO will just make the entire pipe smaller without really giving you any definition. Glass bead takes much longer to cut, but gives greater definition. If, however, your pressure is less than 80 PSI, or you're using a very small aperture nozzle, things change drastically. You've got to do some experimenting and arrive at your own conclusions, but generally speaking, I would steer you away from AO.

AO cuts aggressively and can misshape a pipe quickly.
Experiment and find what's best for your setup.
