I was hoping for some stories and details; maybe even pics of personally owned pipes. My initial post was vague.

LOL, yeah ;)

I know him (well, his work) from the internet, I know he's been making the Bentley pipes and WO Larsens in the 80s and now makes his own. His WOL's are very highly acclaimed even not being one-of-a-kinds.
I don't own one.

I'm glad you brought up the Bentleys. Am I correct in thinking that the Bentleys are machine made from templates made by other pipemakers based on Former's design?

I think so because Former stopped handmaking them once he started his own brand. But they are of quite a quality
