Paid $300.00 bucks for it. Runs good just needs some heavy duty TLC. There are several on Ebay now but I found this one on Craigs List.

Maybe a tad overkill for pipe making lol, but you cant argue at the price. My little desktop engraver cost me a small fortune in comparison but desktop versions are more popular and command a higher price.

look forward to seeing it up and running.

Instead of stamping the pipe I have a jig that holds the pipe and I engrave the name and logo into the briar to a debth of 10 thousands. I also engrave my logo into the stem itself and fill it with a red paint marker instead of using a dot or a variation of. I used to bring the pipes and stems to a machine shop I know and I would use their machine but your always at a disavantage of having a machine available when your available to do the pipe etc. So now I I have everything in house to go from raw material to finished pipe.

Kurt; Maybe, make an offer. The only problem is now that it is in the shop in the basement I dont know how in the hell you would get it back out! I went down the 3 stairs easy enough thanks to gravity and 4 large men but coming back up the 3 stairs????? Man! You might need 8 guys , a winch, a full comand of foul language :filth-n-foul: and pure will. Although I would love you to visit. It would be nice to pick your brain for a while over a couple of pipes and lunch.
