I was looking at some J Alan Twitter pics and I noticed on his bench he has a drill in a vise with a cork on the drill. Just wondering what that is used for.

I think it's a rotary tool. It might be mounted in the vise for using a flex shaft or something; the cork might be keeping a sharp bit from hand-biting. This is all pure speculation.

No, he uses that to open his wine bottles. He's just THAT hard core.
