I have a 4" chuck made for me by Trent at briarpipetooling.com. It is a heavy duty piece with heat treated jaws that are knurled and have the locating pins. I had him make the jaws a little longer than he uaually does to alow for ultimate rotation of the block. I have used this thing about 10 times and it works great. It is fitted with a 1 x 8 backing plate so it will work on most mini and midi lathes. Looking for $400 shipped. OBO. I also have about 30 blocks and a bunch of SEM vulcanite that I will be listing as well. SORRY SOMEONE HAS ALREADY SCOOPED UP THE BLOCKS AND RODS.
