Hi,
I had a look at your site and this one jumped out at me:

You really like the full bent pipes, how do you cope with the airway/chamber junction? With that angle you must get an oval slot rather than a round hole.
David.

Rad! You are still around! I missed your curmedgeonyness for the last couple of days, and that missing was magnified by the fear that I might not read new curmudgeonyness from you ever again!RadDavis wrote:Kurt! Tyler's having fun at my expense!Tyler wrote:Welcome!

What's good for everyone else is good for me. And Todd, and Bruce, and Tyler and anyone else who has fun at someone else's expense or is totally fucking raunchy (you said the occasional F-Bomb was ok), or is the butt of someone else's fun. You, yourself have made it perfectly clear: "Humor at the expense of others, as well as childish behavior, is not permitted."
Can you SEE where this forum is headed? A flat toned, no nonsense forum where everyone has to "watch it"? Do you think that's fun or helpful?? Seriously.
Do you really want to keep slipping down this slope? Until every post is, "Great Pipe!" "Wonderful idea!" "No really, that's a great question! Angle grinders can absolutely be used for shaping a pipe! Why not? They've got a rough surface, and they spin!"
Really?

Now see? Here's a perfect example of what I was saying.
What Rad was TRYING to say was how much he loves everyone, that he is so glad to be a making pipes in the lovely state of Alabama, and he likes hugs. INSTEAD, it sounded like he was trying to pick a fight.
English is tricky.

Hugs, yes! That, as much, was obvious.

Next week I'm going to shape a pipe with an angle grinder - just because.
