I have become really interested in this style of pipe, and was wondering what the consensus was on the for smokability and ease of cleaning. I am mostly referring to those that are all briar

Those are generally referred to as Tyrolean pipes. I've never heard anything good about their smoking qualities, and I've never seen anyopne smoking one. They're cool looking though.
