I am on the lookout for a metal lathe for my workshop. Older good ones can be found on CL for 500 bucks and sometimes less.... but you have to jump on them as they sell fast. Good Luck!

At work there is a Sheldon lathe, it's built very solid and it's the workhorse in the machine shop. Here is a great website for info on almost any lathe. http://www.lathes.co.uk/
