A Few New Ones

I haven't posted much lately. Life outside of pipes is keeping me too busy. Here are three for your consideration. The first is an attempt at a bent billiard. Finding the right balance on the underside of bents has been a weak point of mine and I feel that this one is at least a step in the right direction but on closer inspection it needs more weight towards the back of the bowl. The button and finish on the pot are not exactly what I had hoped. My contrast staining definitely needs more work. I guess the last one would be considered a dublin variant. I would love to hear some thoughts and ways I could improve on all three. Thanks everyone.

Third one looks like a stray Savinelli got into your yard and fucked your Castello.

I like #3 the best. The chin on the first two still looks like just a little more briar could come off.

@Sas - I have a constant problem with stray Savinellis getting in the yard. One of them got busy with one of my current billiard's. The resulting offspring was a pitbilliard. It's the meanest pipe I own.

Just to clarify, when you say chin do you mean the front side of the bowl towards the bottom?

I see nothing at all wrong with the chins on the first two.

Nice work!

Rad, you just made my year. Praise from the man whose pipes are the reason I wanted to start making pipes makes me giddy like a school girl
