Acrylic rod sources

Post by KurtHuhn »

I'm looking for a source for colored cast acrylic rod. I know about Delvies Plastics, but they only have solid colors. I'd like to get pearls, marbles, and other colors as well. Suggestions?

I've seen the Galaxy Plastic stuff, and it looks great, but their website is, frankly, sucky and over a year out of date. I'll send them an email though, and see what they say.

White rod with swirlies?

I looked at Delvies a while back but they didn't seem to offer simple white rod in cast.
I saw some white in the pipemakers.org that jeff linked above

I got the ivory colored rod I used on the pipe I made for Paul Tatum from Delvies. If I recall correctly (and my memory is not the best) I think they also had something that was closer to milk white than ivory. You may want to check again. They won't have anything with swirlies, though.
