Got Briar?

Post by Archer »

Alright guys, this is not a beg. BUT in a way, it is...

I have a delivery of briar coming, but it appears that it wont be here until around the end of December. This is an entirely unacceptable wait for my patience level and I am putting out a call for any of you's guys who have any briar to unload, please PM me!

I am entertaining all PAID offers, this is not a "gimme" request. I don't want any highballs, think affordable please!

Thanks for reading! :D

The size in mm is listed in his chart for each grade he sells.
There well be a min and max LxWxH for each grade, and the grade will be part of the listing title.
My blocks were pretty small but I knew that when I ordered.
I got something like 60 blocks for under $200 shipped.
I figure if I cant make a few half decent pipes from my first 60 blocks, I should sell my tools and go back to driving trucks :D

i have said it before, but if you are looking for a few blocks, email tim west at jhlowe.com i ordered last monday, and they were here by wed afternoon. He has, at least in my case, shipped blocks before payment clears, and most of the time before I even send payment. give it a shot.

You'll pay more for larger blocks, but I figured this was best for the first pipes I make.
Gives me lots to learn with, without worrying much when I screw up.

Thanks! That is great to know! I may give him a shot then! Too bad the work Nazis have it blocked or I would go there right now and see his pricing!

I guess that was part of the question I left out! Maybe someday it would be nice if we could all pool our knowledge of suppliers into one location/thread/sticky, with details about quality, service, turnaround time, etc. so we all will have one spot to go for this info!
