Hey all, I'm new to the forums and pretty new to pipe making.
I'd like to say thanks first off- the information on this site is astounding. My pipemaking i.q. can't help but grow with every post I read. I really hope to learn a lot from you guys, so I must say thanks for being here.
One of my biggest interests- aside from woodworking, is photography. I'm currently going to school for photojournalism in Missoula Montana.
Here are a few of my photos-
I've grown up in a family dedicated to fly fishing. This is a fish my brother caught this past Spring.
This is a shot of the Milky Way, rising over Lena Lake in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. I took this during a forty some odd mile trek this last Summer.
A wintery sunset over Missoula from a few weeks back. The person in the foreground is a friend of mine.

Re: Some of my photography
Welcome, and great pictures! If you can take great pics you're already ahead of the game in the pipe making world. I can't tell you how many times my poor photography has made my pipes look bad. I mean, who knew that a bad photo could make perfect grain look like it has pits, beautiful buttons look misshapen and superior shaping look defunct...
I'm blaming it all on my camera
All that nonsense aside, welcome, and your good photography will come in handy.

Nice photos! Welcome to the forum.
Now we have a Sasquatch and a Yeti. We just need to get the Loch Ness Monster to join and we will be all set!
