Hiw are most of you guys gluing your stem accents and extensions (ie adding a ferrule of purple heart to the stem or shank)? Are you using an epoxy or other. Mine keep turning out with a shitty glue line.

Are you joining two flat pieces, or using a mortis and tenon in the joinery? If you're using a mortis and tenon, are you countersinking the mortis?

Any epoxy should work, as long your pieces are faced flat. Anything less than perfect will show a glue line.

Usually I am using a mortise and tenon or stacking pieces on a delrin tenon. Yes I am counter sinking. Perhaps I'm using too much epoxy?

My first guess, knowing hat you have a delrin tenon, is that you're using too much epoxy, or an epoxy that's too thick, or you're not giving it enough clamping pressure to squeeze excess out of the joint. Or some combo of the three.
