latest attempt

Post by AaronC »

I'll call this an attempt at a pipe. I messed up good on the stem. I wasn't thinking about how long i made my tenon and sanded down too close. I figured I'd share it with you all anyways.

I'm off to try again :)
Thanks for looking!

Thank you! I was pretty happy with the way the color turned out on this one.

I'm not usually a big fan of green pipes but the contrast of the smooth and rusticated in green on this pipe really is attractive. Nicely done.

I like it. The stem looks a bit unrefined, but the rustication and the shaping are class.

I bet Wayne is happy you sanded out the chamber!

ya, the stem work is shoddy at best. once i saw the tenon shining through i didn't see much point.

I gave this pipe to a friend who is wanting to convert to pipes from ciggs. He seems to be very happy with it so far, so i guess I am too.

Thanks

Aaron :)
