With Kind Regards UniqueBriar/Pedro.

Pretty nice. I won't say much, being a touch inexperienced, but I will say: Dude, what's with the rubber bite protector? Trying to hide your bit work?

I want to be the first to say that on the whole, it feels much better without the rubber!!! Sorry fellas. On a serious note, the finishing and attention to detail are great on this pipe.

It's funny 'cause it's true!
Re: My first attempt at a rhodesian pipe
Looks pretty nice. I would call it an acorn or strawberry though because the bowl extends below the shank. The saddle could be cut a bit sharper and the edges less rounded. The shank work looks good as well as the transition between stem and stummel.
Re: My first attempt at a rhodesian pipe
Definitely better without the prophylactic. I do like the shape extending below the shank so perhaps a strawberry rhodesian? Sounds like it should come with a paper umbrella.
I do find it quite alluring but maybe the reveals could be more pronounced? I think it would help define the shape and be a nice contrast with the rustication.

I agree with Wayne. It's not exactly the classic Rhodesian. Looks more like an acorn. Still it looks nicely done. Great job.
