Has anybody seen any pipemakers lathes? ( headstock and two jaw with tool rest) many of the old Brit makers still use these. any Idea? ebay??? anywhere? thanx Bob Clark

It's better to built one yourself.All you need:

Frenquency modulator
3-phase 1.5hp motor
an arbor with 1' * 8 tpi thread
and a woodturning chuck with same thread

Just use a wood lathe, essentially the same thing without a tailstock.
