Pipe Bands
OK I may have asked this before, but what is the best way to put bands on briar? Are there any special tools needed? Is there one source better than another? Thanks.

Re: Pipe Bands
I find one that is slightly smaller than the shank, heat it with a torch lighter and push it on the end of the shank. It will cool and contract around the shank.
Another method is to simply epoxy the band on. Some will turn down the shank so the band is flush and sits securely in place.
Pretty simple really.

Re: Pipe Bands
When I read this thread title I pictured a musical band composed by pipe makers. And a boy band at that.
Wouldn't that be a sight?
